what is Morpheus8?

Morpheus8 is a device that combines skin microneedling with radiofrequency heat energy. The treatment stimulates production of new collagen for a smoother, firmer, tighter and brighter appearance of the skin.

Morpheus8 features a grid of 24x small needles which penetrate the skin at specific depths (4mm, 2mm or 1mm), meanwhile the tips heat up with radiofrequency energy – causing collagen denaturation, skin contraction and the stimulation of new elastin production, thus tightening and firming over several months after treatment.

For patients in their 20s and 30s looking to maintain skin clarity and quality, Morpheus8 treatment is recommended every 6 months. For patients with mature skin or looking to improve scarring/sagging skin, we recommend a course of 3 treatments to see optimal improvement, followed by a maintenance treatment every 6 months.

You should typically start to see some improvement a month after treatment and full results at around 3—6 months after a course of treatments, lasting for several years, dependent on lifestyle.

Yes, Morpheus8 can be used during the same session or shortly after treatments like Forma, Hydrafacial and Lumecca IPL. We’ll advise if any treatment combinations would suit your concerns.

Downtime is minimal, and makeup can be applied 1 – 2 days after treatment. You should expect to see micro-lesions for a few days post-procedure and slight redness for around a week, depending on the parameters set. You’ll be advised how to best maintain your results before leaving the clinic.

Hydrate the treatment area often and avoid direct sun exposure. It’s also recommended to use a scientifically-proven broad-spectrum sunscreen daily to reduce the risk of skin cancer and enhance skin tightening effects.
