HArmonyCa® is by Allergan Aesthetics, a leader in injectables and the same company that created Juvéderm. It’s a dual-effect hybrid injectable that combines hyaluronic acid with calcium hydroxyapatite. The HA provides an immediate lifting effect after the treatment, while calcium hydroxyapatite, a bio-stimulator, works over time by supporting the body’s own collagen production to encourage collagen stimulation and remodel the skin.
As a result, the skin will feel firmer and tighter, and you will see gradual improvement in the appearance of your complexion due to the continued stimulation of new collagen.
HOW DOES HArmonyCa® WORK?
Delivered only by our specialist nurse prescribers, HArmonyCa® is injected into the cheeks and jawline using a cannula to fan the product throughout the mid-face. The calcium hydroxyapatite works deep within the dermis to kick-start the growth of fibroblasts that form new collagen fibres in as little as one week after injection, creating a firm collagen framework within the skin long after the hyaluronic acid is broken down. Simultaneously, the hyaluronic acid diffuses between collagen fibres of the lower dermal layer, for an immediate lifting effect.
